This little pension was very cute. The room was utilitarian, but typical of budget European hotels. It was totally rennovated and clean. Shower was strong. Lobby and eating areas adorable. You're saving $$ b/c the hotel faces a WW II bombed-out block hidden by ugly fence. But walk less than 500 feet and you are right in the heart of the old town, next to hotels that charge 3-4 times as much. A great deal for the cost.

Staff were great! Setting up breakfast at 6am (we had an early flight back)was not a problem. Great location! Would stay again.
Could do with a bit more attention to detail regarding cleaning.

Good location, very close to the Old Town...1 minute walk! Serviceminded staff, very clean hotel:).
The breakfast could be better. They should have a cooling system for the food, and maybe a larger selection...

Very polite staff with excellent English. I really appreciated their help and they were very flexible in every possible way. I had to leave early to catch a flight, so a breakfast was prepared at 3:30 without any additional charge. Once the street reconstruction is finished, it's location will be excellent. They have very nice rooms with good quality furniture.
Currently, street is under reconstruction.

The location was fantastic very close to the old town .
The 07;00 wake up call every morning by a gang of workmen creating a new road surface directly outside the hotel . I like to wake up in my own time when holidaying and found this intrusive and unacceptable . I would recommend this hotel when the quiet is restored.

I was very disappointed with this hotel based on the reviews I had read on your site. Reception was not friendly, the hotel was difficult to locate at first, the breakfast was only fair and the room could have been cleaner. On the same trip I stayed in a hotel in Warsaw which was so much better in every repsect and this hotel in Gdansk was more expensive. Maybe I was just unlucky but based on my experience I would not recommend it.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They looked up tram information for us, and said we could make cups of tea when we liked, even on the day we checked out.
A very small point - the rooms were light early in the morning because the curtains were pale and thin.

The location of the hotel is excellent; it is quiet but central, staff are friendly, room was clean, layout and amenities are simple, but when you spend most of your time outside int he city, all you need is a place to lay your head...
